Every morning, I would wake up to this beautiful view! Appreciating God's creations was at moments breathtaking. I LOVED South Africa! The beauty, the weather, the people, the feeling of "paradise on earth".

Just Us Girls Soiree!
My friend Michele Jackson from church started "Just Us Girls Soirees" earlier this year. At her last soiree, she asked me to be the featured speaker. It was a BLAST!
There were about 17 girls, from different schools. Some came solo, some came with friends. And by the end of the night, we were ALL blessed. There was food, music, dancing and a seminar portion.
Since it was such a hit, Michele is doing another soiree, and this time it's a SLEEPOVER!!! She's booked rooms at a hotel and 60 girls have already signed up! The date is: Saturday, November 17th from 5:00pm - 8:00am Sunday morning. I'll be one of 4 speakers, and we'll provide food, fun, games and a safe environment for personal growth.
If you live in the LA area and you'd like your daughter, friend or relative to attend, please call me (888) 339-8450. Also, we need a few more chaperones plus SPONSORS! It's just $20/girl to sponsor. And we'd *LOVE* your support.

To sponsor 3 girls for just $60, please click here:
P.S. As a sponsor, Michele and I will send you pictures and a play-by-play email about the experience!
P.P.S. 100% of your donations will go to the Just Us Girls Fund!

Khama poses for hot LA artist!
After graduation we went our separate ways and then met up again a few years ago, here in California. She is now married with two beautiful children and owns "H. Palleiko Designs". She has shows all over LA and has become quite popular in the industry of lifecasting and contemporary wearable art!
This beautiful lifecasting is my back! I recently went to her home studio and she did her magic! Heather says, "The unique, one-of-a-kind piece is titled Oshun Ala, selected carefully to reflect the beauty and strength of the model. Oshun is an African goddess of love, beauty and diplomacy. She teaches people to overcome their difficulties through kindness and negotiation. Ala is the African goddess of the earth, the mother of all things. She is the deity of fertility and death. This means that she sparks creativity and life deep within us and shows us the way to leave old things behind to start anew; she gives us rebirth."
Oshun Ala is available for $1200.
To purchase this sculpture piece or to commission Heather Palleiko for your own lifecasting, contact her in the following ways:

My Sis!
I am back in L.A., after a 5-month whirlwind in London and Ghana. It feels good to be back, but I do miss my little sis, Zoe. My mom tells me that she's been watching a little bit of Baby TV every day and she thoroughly enjoys it. Except...for the live animals. Apparently, little Zoe is not too fond of animals!
Anyways, I was thinking about her today, so I wanted to share with you our 1st photo. This is the first time I met Zoe when she and my parents were still in Chicago, she was only 8 weeks old. So precious. I miss her.
